WDC President Duties

• Lead the club’s efforts to educate all voters on local, state, and national issues of importance, with a special focus on issues that disproportionately affect women and their families via programming and writing a bi-monthly letter to communicate priorities to membership.
• Work closely with the WDC Advocacy Committee to submit testimony on 44 bills in the 2024 session of the General Assembly, 21 of which passed and were signed into law.
• Organize candidate forums, community dialogues, advocacy efforts and GOTV events throughout the year in coordination with the WDC Board of Directors and membership.
• Develop partnerships with a wide range of Maryland organizations to coordinate activity.
